It is not being afraid to face an environment that grows more changing and uncertain each day. It is learning to walk again on our own feet. It is touching, feeling. It is understanding that not every day is sunny. It is allowing ourselves to make mistakes, to feel discomfort, to transform. It is seeing, in other realities, what helps us value our own. It is understanding that we are not all the same so we can discover who we truly are. It is facing each path with little baggage and many questions.
On this journey, there are many stops we must pass through: tests, challenges, breakthroughs, discoveries, falls, and getting back up again. Only then can we truly be prepared for whatever may come. Only then do we teach how to live.
